Klopp achieved 10 wins against Guardiola and made history
Liverpool qualified for the FA Cup final against Manchester City in a historic game for Jurgen Klopp, who made 10 wins against the Spanish manager, making history and being the only one to do so.
The FA Cup semi-final at historic Wembley was a huge win for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Manchester City 3-2 and qualified for a historic game for the German manager.
Klopp not only kept the Reds alive in the hunt for an incredible quad, with four titles in one season, but also made history by becoming the first manager to record 10 wins over Pep Guardiola.
Second to Klopp with the most wins against the Spanish boss is Jose Mourinho with seven.
It is noted that Liverpool returned to the FA Cup final after 10 full years, with Klopp also reaching his first final with the Reds in his six years at Anfield.
The English north club meet either Chelsea or Crystal Palace in the grand final (they play on Sunday 17/4) to lift their first trophy since 2006.
