A win after a month for Chelsea that breaks the September well
Chelsea ended a three-game offensive drought and recorded its first Premier League win since August 25.
Chelsea picked up their first three points after three unsuccessful results, with Mudric scoring his first goal in 23 games in a Blues shirt, becoming the seventh Ukrainian to score in the Premier League. Rembrov, Shevchenko, Yarmolenko, Mikolenko, Zinchenko and Voronin, the other six.
In a game in which the London club finish – narrowly – second Among teams based in the English capital, Arsenal have achieved 150 derby victories, Arsenal are in first place with 151 victories, but the records don’t end there.
Robert Sanchez, a summer signing from Brighton who succeeded Kepa, kept Chelsea clean for the third time, giving him the lead among Premier League goalkeepers with the most goals conceded since the start of the season.
It remains to be seen whether this victory was a sign of a turnaround for Mauricio Pochettino’s side or a preview of the quality of footballers at his disposal.
