Ibahimovic defended the Glazers: “They are investing in Manchester United”
One statement that will be up for debate came from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, claiming that the Glazers are investing in Manchester United and it is unfair to criticize them.
In contrast to the protests by Manchester United fans, which have intensified recently, and the general feeling against the club’s owners, the Glazers, the Zlatan Ibrahimovic defended the family that owns the majority package of the “Red Devils”.
“It’s not that they aren’t investing, especially when you look at the large amounts they’ve spent on multiple players” he initially stated in his recent statements, later claiming: “It’s a little wrong to say that they don’t do what the team’s fans expect of them“.
All of this at the moment Glazer family, which has held a majority stake in Manchester United since 2005, withdrew its desire to sell the team as no buyer could be found for the asking price. The amount demanded was around €11.7 billion, a far cry from Sir Jim’s offers Radcliffe And Hashim bin Hamad bin Hashim.
