De Gerby: “We know that we are not yet a big team, but a small club”
Roberto De Gerbi expressed his pride at Brighton’s point in their first European away game, making it clear that his side are still far from being a great side.
Brighton had a stunning season in the Premier League last year which secured them a ticket to Europe, and have made a very impressive start to the league this year, including victories over Newcastle and Manchester United, but a bumpy landing followed a 3-2 defeat at the Amex Stadium against AEK in their first European Cup game.
Another difficult game for the “Seagulls” followed on Thursday evening (October 5th), against Marseille in the “Velodrome” on the second matchday of the 2nd group of the Europa League, with Brighton taking the point (2:2). and Roberto De Gerbi tried to provide clarity at the press conference.
