Sheffield United captain Chris Bassam suffered a serious injury against Fulham when he kicked awkwardly and twisted his ankle. Beware of harsh images.
Chris Bassam was unlucky in the 8th Premier League game against Fulham when he was seriously injured.
In the 23rd minute of the game, the Sheffield United captain faltered while fighting for the ball, causing his ankle to twist and fall to the ground in pain.
He immediately received first aid and then left the field on a stretcher.
