Postecoglou won back-to-back awards and set a record with the best day in the Premier League
Angelos Postecoglou was named the Premier League’s best coach in both September and August, making history as he now has a unique record in England’s top flight.
He initially faced major doubts as few believed he could succeed at Tottenham following Harry Kane’s departure, but Angelos Postecoglou not only turned a deaf ear to the criticism but also showed impressive results with the Good Morning.
As a result, he has led Spurs to the top of the Premier League table alongside fellow countryman Arsenal after the first eight games, while he is making a splash in the individual awards with two already in his collection.
In August he celebrated the title of top manager while making it clear that this was no coincidence, as he was also named the best manager in the top league in September, just as the North London team had a record of 3 wins in this period (with Burnley, Sheffield, Liverpool) and 1 draw (except with Arsenal).
The impressive thing is that he is already proud of the unique record he now possesses: the Greek-Australian was the first to win the Premier League Coach of the Month award twice in a row.
