Tottenham pitch vandalized, damage estimated at six figures
According to the Daily Mail, there was significant damage at Tottenham Stadium during the national team’s break, with one person being arrested.
Tottenham Hotspur suffered a major blow when unknown vandals vandalized their London stadium during the national team’s break, the Daily Mail reported.
According to the publication, damage was caused, the cost of which is estimated to be at least six figures. Police have arrested one person over the incident and so far there is no evidence that the incident was triggered by events in Israel, as Spurs have close ties to the Jewish community.
Tottenham’s statement read: “We can confirm that one person has been arrested for criminal damage following an incident on Monday evening. There is no evidence that this incident is related to anti-Semitism“.
