Arsenal initiative against murderous attacks on young people
Arsenal will face Nottingham Forest in a white jersey and will send a message about the killings of teenagers following knife attacks.
Arsenal will face Nottingham Forest for the FA Cup on Sunday (01/01, 7:10 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 9HD, LIVE Sportish). The gunners will not compete in the classic red tones, but with a completely white jersey and the motto “No more red”. This is how they send the message about the killings of teenagers in knife attacks.
In fact, these shirts are not for sale, but rather given to people who make a difference in the community. The action comes a week after the announcement of 30 stabbing murders of teenagers in London in 2021.
To get its message across, Arsenal released a very nice video starring the famous actor Idris Elba and the legend of the gunners Ian Wright.
“The idea of Arsenal with all white shirts and the ‘no more red’ message will hopefully get people to think about what’s going on and investigate further.” said the actor at Sky Sports and wanted to use the influence he had to make the topic better known.
