City names a pitch at its training center after Gintogan
Manchester City will name one of the pitches at its training center after Ilkay Gintogan, with the Citizens honoring their legendary leader with the dedication.
THE Ilkay Gintogan is one of Pep Guardiola’s favorite players, as the Manchester City coach has revealed many times in the past. And how could it be otherwise, since the Turk was the Spaniard’s coach on the field and did everything Guardiola.
Together they managed to win five league titles, two FA Cups and four League Cups in their seven years together at the Premier League club – the greatest legacy they left behind Manchester CityHowever, it should be the Champions League of the 2022/2023 season.
The club has already announced the creation of a mosaic to commemorate the victory Gintogan’s goal in the 2021-22 Premier League title clash against Aston Villa, with the exhibit in question placed near the team’s training ground.

We are all so grateful for the wonderful memories you have given us as the first Manchester City captain to win the Champions League“said the president of Manchester City when unveiling the mosaic, Khaldoun Al Mubarak.
