Fulham have announced the extension of their partnership with ‘genius’ Marco Silva
Marco Silva has delivered outstanding performances in his first two seasons on the Fulham bench and the west London club have rewarded him handsomely by signing a new contract until the summer of 2026.
With Marco Silva on the bench, Fulham have performed brilliantly over the last two seasons. The Portuguese coach led them to promotion to the Premier League in the 2021/22 season (he secured promotion four games before the final) and also helped the Londoners finish in the top half of the table last year.
All of this played an important role in building a strong relationship of trust and appreciation with both the team’s fans and the “Cotagers” management. The confirmation came on Tuesday afternoon (October 24th) when it was announced that the cooperation between the two teams would be extended until the final of the 2025/26 season.
“I’m really happy to sign a new contract as we’ve been talking about it for some time. It’s always a good sign when both sides are satisfied and we want to continue working together.”
