Rangnik: “Pogba will be out for at least four more weeks”
Paul Pogba is not expected to return to activity in less than a month as Ralph Rangnick has announced that his leg injury will leave him out for at least another four weeks.
Paul Pogba will stay in the “pit” for at least another month, with Manchester United manager Ralph Rangnick saying he will be back no sooner than four weeks.
“As far as I know, I was told a week ago that it would be at least four or five weeks before Pogba can train again.” characteristically pointed out on the official website of the Red Devils.
The French midfielder early last November injured in the quadriceps of his right leg while preparing with the “tricolors” with a view to qualifying for the World Cup against Kazakhstan and Finland. Although initial estimates indicated a 1.5 month absence, the problem appears to be more serious than originally thought.
Therefore, the 28-year-old should start training again in February. This means that the German coach will not count on him for the games with Aston Villa (10/1 in the League Cup and 15/1 in the League), Brentford (19/1), West Ham (22/1) and Burnley ( 8.2.) In the Premier League.
