Klopp: “To be honest, I don’t know a better team than City”
The match between Liverpool and Manchester City is set to be tough in this year’s Premier League as well, with Jurgen Klopp not hesitating to adore Pep Guardiola in light of the red derby with Everton.
Liverpool are gearing up for the big local derby with Everton for Game 34 of the Premier League (24/2, 6.30pm, COSMOTE SPORT 1 HD and LIVE by Sportish), in a match that knows victory is only a possibility if there is hope for the title, especially in the event that Manchester City beat Watford on Holy Saturday and lose four points in the fight for the top spot.
Just before that series of games, Pep Guardiola praised Liverpool for talking about one of the best teams in the history of football and Jurgen Klopp got the Catalan’s support to score, claiming that it was to his knowledge about football there is no best team than City.
“Thank you Pep! With all the things I know about football now, I can say that Manchester City are a really, really good team and to be honest I don’t know any better.”
It’s one of the best in history, if not the best, to be honest. I can’t compare it to 20 to 30 years ago.
