Vlachodimos: “It was a great atmosphere, we are making progress”
Odysseas Vlachodimos said he was completely satisfied with his first appearance in the Nottingham Forest shirt, which came in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
Odysseas Vlachodemos signed a four-year contract with Nottingham on September 1st, but had to wait over 60 days for his baptism of fire with the Reds, which took place against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon (11/05).
The wait for the former Benfica keeper took a long time, but if his debut is anything to go by, it was worth it as the international goalkeeper is a guarantee under the goalposts and in the final he and his teammates celebrated the 2-0 win against them Villans and the Reds’ third success in this year’s championship.
“It was a great atmosphere. When you win the game everything is easier. We continue.”was his comment on the game to the BBC. Vlachodimos finished with three saves and kept Emery’s side clean for the second time in the Premier League this season after being beaten 3-0 by Liverpool at Anfield.
