Pochettino: “I hope to stay at Chelsea until I die, I would go to Tottenham if I were unemployed”
Ahead of the London derby, Mauricio Pochettino declared that he would take over Tottenham if he were unemployed, while expressing his desire to stay at Chelsea forever.
He has only been on the Chelsea bench for four months, but long enough for Mauricio Pochettino, who spoke at the press conference before the London derby with Tottenham (November 6th, 10 p.m., Novasports Prime and LIVE from Sportish). He stated that he wants to stay with the team forever.
At the same time, he stated that if he were ever unemployed and Tottenham made him an offer, he would accept it without the rivalry between the two teams affecting him.
“I hope to stay at Chelsea until I die. 20 or 25 years, but in football you never know. If Tottenham offer me a job and I’m unemployed, then why not? Tottenham is a club like Southampton, Espanyol or Newell’s Old Boys.
That’s life – you never know what will happen tomorrow. We have to live today. I think now that I’m 51 I think about it more, I live for today and don’t think too much about tomorrow. said the Argentine coach, among other things.
