Postecoglou: “The game got out of control in many places”
Angelos Postecoglou has commented on Tottenham’s defeat to nine-man Chelsea, pointing out that the game got out of control on several occasions and he had no complaints from his players.
On Monday evening (6/11), Tottenham, who played with nine players for a long time, suffered a 4-1 defeat against Chelsea in the London derby, with the final score lost in the final minutes of the game.
Tottenham coach Angelos Postecoglou had nothing to say about his players after the game as he noted the game had gotten out of control.
“It’s almost impossible to analyze this game because it seemed to get out of control in many places. I’m disappointed with the result but I’m really proud of the players, they gave everything and that’s the positive thing we’ll remember.”
We came close to equalizing several times and that shows their mental state. We have to accept the referee’s decisions, that’s how I grew up.”
