Premier League clubs are refusing to loan players between teams with a common owner
The 20 Premier League clubs will be asked to vote at a meeting on November 21 on whether or not to ban the loan of players between clubs linked by ownership.
A brake on the plans – mainly – of Saudi Arabia The Premier League clubs want to present this through a resolution to be taken at the meeting on November 21st.
There, the 20 participating teams in the top football league will decide whether player loans between clubs with the same owner are permitted.
Passing this temporary ban would require the positive votes of 14 out of 20 teams, which seems easy to achieve considering the rumors that have been heard about Newcastle’s ownership status and its direct connection with Saudi Arabia’s four biggest teams (Al Nasr , Al Ittihad, Al Ahli and Al Hilal).
The majority of the club’s executives will try – by vote – to stop the ambitions of Saudi Arabiawhich will see some of the league’s best players in the Middle East country move to the league England for “Karakaxes”.
The names Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruben Neves, Neymar and Bobby Firmino came up from time to time.
