Arsenal returned to success, a thrilling win for United
Arsenal overcame defeat at Newcastle and returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Burnley. Fourth win in the last five league games for United with a 1-0 win against Luton, golden treble for Everton in London.
Tottenham were beaten by Wolves by conceding two stoppage-time goals at Molino to open the Premier League’s 12th round, but Arsenal and Manchester United were unwilling to go down and fell victim to surprises a few hours later.
The former were beaten 3-1 by Burnley at the Emirates and returned to winning ways after their home defeat against Newcastle last week, while the latter were able to overcome Luton and its fears and take the three points 1 – 1. 0 and leaves the disappointment of the 3:4 in Denmark from Copenhagen behind for the Champions League.
At the same time, Everton continued its upward trend and, after the away win against West Ham and the 1-1 draw at “Goodison” against Brighton, celebrated another 3-2 win against Crystal in London for the second time in a row.
Arsenal cleaned up with three goals
In north London, Arsenal didn’t shine in the first half, but still found the goal they were looking for in the 45+1 minute with Trossard, with the Belgian newcomer scoring for the Londoners at the “Emirates” (they played) No. 1,000 been there since the 2006-07 season) in all competitions.
In the 54th minute, Burnley gave Arteta’s team a heart attack by leveling the game with a Brownhill shot from inside the box, which was followed by a sustained counter-attack from the Gunners, who scored two goals from as many corners.
In the 57th minute, Saliba took advantage of Trossar’s execution and made it 2-1 with an impressive header from the small penalty area, while in the 74th minute Zinchenko saw the ball spread in front of him and made it third with an elusive left-footed shot :1, which he stayed with, even though the hosts played with ten men from the 83rd minute due to Vieira’s suspension.
- ARSENAL: Raya, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Magalias, Zinchenko, Havertz (59′ Vieira), Jorginho, Rice, Saka (81′ Nelson), Trossard (81′ Enketia), Martinelli (89′ Kivior)

A defender redeemed United
Rasmus Hoylund has already scored five goals in his first four games with Manchester United in the Champions League, but he remains unscathed in the Premier League, and the “curse” did not subside on Saturday afternoon in the home game against Luton.
The Danish striker had chances when his top shot was saved by Kaminski in the 10th minute, but he failed to put the goal in the back of the net. Devils and the… Ten Hach.
It was Marcus Lindelof who scored with a powerful shot from a good position. It remained 1-0 until the final and United celebrated – albeit with great concern – their fourth win in their last five league games
- MANCHESTER UNITED: Onana, Dalot, Maguire, Lindelof, Reguilon (79′ Varane), McTominay, Eriksen (40′ Mount), Rashford, Fernandes, Garnazzo (68′ Anthony), Hoylund (79′ Martial)

Everton feels comfortable in London
This season, Everton have suffered, always bottom of the table in their first few games, but now they enjoy a safety margin over the trio of future dead, and they have… London to thank for that.
Of the four league wins in total, only one was achieved at “Goodison Park”, while the other three were achieved in the English capital, with the “Candies” defeating Brentford (3-1) and West Ham (1-0) in September October, to top it off on Saturday against Crystal Palace.
Dice’s team opened the scoring in the first minute through Mikolenko (he has scored the most goals in the first minute of any Premier League game, 13) and made it 2-1 in the 49th minute through Doukoure. The Eagles find the answer with Eze (5th minute) and Edouard (73rd), but the Liverpool Blues get the three points thanks to a golden goal from Gei in the 86th minute.
