The unusual relationship of dependency between Nunes and Salah

Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez have developed a special relationship with the pitch, as the two Liverpool strikers lie on the grass with their eyes closed.

Liverpool celebrated their eighth win in 12 Premier League games with a 3-0 victory over Brentford on Sunday afternoon (11/12), with Mohamed Salah scoring twice and Kostas Tsimika providing the same number of assists.

With the Reds chasing Manchester City just a point behind them, Jurgen Klopp’s side’s attacking contribution will depend largely on their Egyptian leaders Salah being the “hottest” footballer in the Premier League with 10 goals and 4 assists in 12 games.

However, what was confirmed again in the game against the Bees is the relationship of mutual dependence that has developed between Salah and him Darwin Nunes.

The Uruguayan has passed since last year (2022) in the summer when he moved from Benfica to Liverpool 7 assists in the English league and all of them have the Egyptian as their receiver.

This statistic is testament to the communication codes they have developed within the top four, while also placing them in second place among the most iconic duos, with Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland tied for first with 8 goal partnerships for Manchester City.
