The Glazers did not attend Sir Bobby Charlton’s funeral
The absence of the Glazer family, who own Manchester United, was felt as they did not attend Sir Bobby Charlton’s funeral, even through a representative.
Sir Bobby Charlton’s funeral took place today (11/13) in the presence of leading figures from the Manchester United “family” and English football.
However, the Glazer family, which owns the club, was not present at the ceremony as none of their members were present and their representative also did not attend the ceremony. This particular move has caused a stir in the British press, but also among the ranks of Red Devils fans, many of whom are already against them.
The club was attended by Maguire, Shaw, Evans and Heaton, as well as the club’s chief executive David Gill.
