Agwonigi has been missing from Nottingham for months
Taiwo Agwonyi has been unconscious for months, Nottingham coach Steve Cooper has revealed.
Nottingham will be without the services of Taiwo Awonigi, who has suffered a serious hamstring injury and will be out for months.
The club’s manager Steve Cooper confirmed the development at a press conference for his 26-year-old Nigerian, who has scored four goals in 10 Premier League games this year.
“We will definitely see him again during the season but it is adductor surgery and it will take some time. It’s bad news for Taiwo, he needs surgery and will be out for months. We support him and will try to get him back as quickly as possible and be as healthy as possible. He’s unlucky and it’s a blow for him.”he said about the national striker.
