Everton appealed the ten-point deduction
Everton have announced they have appealed against the Premier League Justice Committee’s decision which saw them deduct ten points.
Everton are hitting back, saying they have appealed an independent panel’s decision to deduct 10 Candy Points from this year’s rankings for breaching Premier League financial regulations in the 2021-22 season.
The Merseyside club appealed to the chairman of the league’s justice committee and a panel will now be appointed to hear the case.
“Everton today lodged its appeal against the Premier League Committee’s decision to impose a 10-point deduction on the club with the Chairman of the Premier League Judicial Committee. A committee will now be set up to deal with the appointment“Everton’s statement said.
