Klopp for Origi: “It is and will remain a legend, wherever it goes, it will be launched”
Jurgen Klopp argued after Liverpool’s derby win with Everton that Origi is a legend and that if he continues his career he will be valuable in any team. The Belgian striker remains on a free transfer in the summer and has already reached an agreement with Milan.
Divok Origi signed Liverpool’s Merseyside derby win over Everton. The Reds prevailed 2-0 in the 34th game of the Premier League at Anfield after going ahead with a Robertson header.
After the final, Jurgen Klopp praised the Belgian striker, whom he described as a legend. “We will miss Origi when he goes. Whatever team he goes to, he gets started. He is a world class player, a legend and will always be a legend“.
Origi gets free from the “Reds”. In fact, he has already reached a verbal agreement with Milan for the summer. He has played for Liverpool since the 2014/15 season, on two temporary loans. In a total of 173 appearances, he scored 41 goals and shared 17 assists.
