Manchester United are accused of serving raw chicken at an event at Old Trafford
According to The Athletic, the club’s board are currently conducting an investigation into Manchester United following a series of complaints that they became ill after eating raw chicken at an event at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are being investigated by Trafford Council for an unusual reason. According to an Athletic publication, there have been reports of people falling ill after eating raw chicken at an event at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils declined to comment on the matter but are also investigating the incident as they have received complaints from various guests over the past few months.
An investigation is currently underway to determine whether the complainants’ symptoms were caused by food poisoning. It should be noted that United’s food hygiene was rated excellent (5/5) by the state’s independent regulator.
And this incident comes to light during a change at the top of the club, as Sir Jimmy Ratcliffe is officially expected to buy the Red Devils.
