Everton beat Nottingham 1-0 at the City Ground to escape from bottom of the Premier League table.

Everton have been looking for that breath for a long time and found it at the City Ground, where they had to admit defeat 1:0 Nottingham for the 14th Premier League game and escaped bottom of the table for the first time since being punished with -10 points.

In a balanced game without many phases, in which both teams scored a goal each, Dwight McNeil’s first goal of the season made the difference, a volley in the 67th minute that beat Odysseus Vlachodimos, who was once again the favorite under the hosts’ posts.
