According to English media, Erling Haaland is being threatened with a fine by the FA for his outburst at Manchester City – Tottenham referee Simon Hooper and the angry post he made.
Erling Haaland is threatened with a penalty by the FA. Referee Simon Hooper’s decision not to give Manchester City an advantage but to commit a foul on Haaland midway through the 90+4 minute, even though Grealish had gone into the field alone against Vicario, sparked a storm of reaction.
The players of the English and European champions surrounded the referee and asked him for an explanation, while the reaction was quite strong from Haaland, who wanted to further “prolong” the matter and published the video of the controversial phase in which his team was wronged was added with the following comment: “What the fuck (wtf)”.
