Daily Mail: “Cooper leaves Nottingham, Lopetegui and Silva as possible replacements”
Nottingham Forest’s heavy defeat at Fulham is likely to spark developments for the Reds as Steve Cooper is expected to be a thing of the past, according to the Daily Mail. Candidates for his successor are Julen Lopetegui and Marco Silva.
Nottingham Forest crashed at Craven Cottage as they were beaten 5-0 by Fulham on matchday 15 of the Premier League. In fact, this is the fourth defeat of the “Reds” in a row in the championship, which is likely to bring further developments.
A Daily Mail publication states that Steve Cooper from the team’s bench is expected to be a thing of the past. The same source reports that his possible successor is Julen Lopetegui (a case that Vangelis Marinakis likes very much, according to the same source) and that he is free.
The second is Marco Silva, who currently works at Fulham and has a contract until 2026. In the past, the Portuguese coach sat on the bench at Olympiacos.
