The list of the highest paid footballers in the Premier League includes several footballers from 1992 to the present.
Carlos Tevez held the role of highest-paid player for four seasons in a row and earned an amount of 290,000 euros per week. His place was taken by for the next four years Wayne Rooney earns 348k every 7 days.
Alexis Sanchez was at the top for two years with 405,000 per week. While of course in the 2021/2022 season this position was occupied by Cristiano Ronaldo, who earned 557,000 euros per week upon his return to Manchester United.
From then until now, Manchester City leader Kevin De Bruyne has enjoyed the top spot, earning €464,000 a week.
