Cassano: ‘If Barcelona take Lukaku, I won’t watch their game anymore’
Antonio Cassano scored again and this time Romelu Loukakou was the one caught in the crosshairs of the Italian veteran who declared he will never see their game again if Barcelona take him over.
Romelos Loukakos’ transfer to Chelsea didn’t go as he and the club expected. In fact, Thomas Tuhel hasn’t hesitated to admit it, saying that while the squad still believe him, things haven’t gone very well.
The Belgian striker’s contract expires in the summer of 2026, but staying in London for another four years seems impossible at the moment.
In addition to reports linking him to his former team Inter, it was recently reported in Spain that he is also targeted at Barcelona should contacts with Erling Halland and Robert Lewandowski fail to materialise.
The experienced striker, who has worn Roma, Real, Milan and Inter shirts, among others, was asked about this possibility. The Italian veteran seemed absolute and claimed it would be a wrong move for the Catalans.
“I’m deeply in love with Barcelona’s philosophy but if he takes Lukaku I swear I won’t watch their match again. “He can no longer trade three passes to an unrivaled Chelsea.”stressed characteristically on Bobo TV.
