Bournemouth v Luton is suspended after Tom Lockyer collapses on the pitch
The Premier League has announced the permanent suspension of the game between Bournemouth and Luton after Tom Lockyer collapsed on the pitch.
The Bournemouth vs Luton match on matchday 17 of the Premier League was finally abandoned after visiting player Tom Lockyer collapsed in the 60th minute of the game.
The Welshman received first aid immediately and, according to initial information, he is in contact with the environment. The organizer announced the final interruption of the game.
“The Premier League game between Bournemouth and Luton has been permanently abandoned due to a medical incident involving a player. Our thoughts are with Tom Lockyer and all the players involved in the game.” says the Premier League announcement.
It is recalled that this was the second time the 29-year-old collapsed. Specifically, last May, in the final of the playoffs for promotion to the Premier League against Coventry, he lost consciousness again.
