Lockyer suffered cardiac arrest and is in a stable condition in hospital

Luton said in a statement that Lockyer suffered cardiac arrest and remains in hospital in a stable condition undergoing further tests.

The Bournemouth vs Luton match on matchday 17 of the Premier League was finally abandoned after visiting player Tom Lockyer collapsed in the 60th minute of the game.

Luton said in a statement that the footballer had suffered a heart attack but was conscious when he was taken away on a stretcher.

He was then taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition and is undergoing further tests.

The Luton update:

“Our medical staff have confirmed that our captain suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch but was conscious when he was carried away on a stretcher.”

He received further care on site, for which we would like to once again thank the medical teams on both sides.

Tom was taken to hospital where we can reassure fans that his condition is stable and he is currently undergoing further tests with his family by his side.

Historic day for Manchester United when British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe acquired 25% of the club’s shares from the Glazer family.

After 13 months of negotiations, Sir Jim Ratcliffe acquired 25% of Manchester United’s shares for £1.25 billion (€1.44 billion).

The British billionaire will take charge of the club’s football operations and says he will invest 272 million euros ($300 million) in Old Trafford. At the same time, he made a proposal to acquire a further share of the shares (up to 25%).


In order for the deal to be finalized and formally concluded, it must be approved by all bodies, including the Premier League, as is the case with such deals.

City give River more than 20 million euros and take on 17-year-old Etceveri

One step away from finalizing an agreement with River Plate is Manchester City, where they are finalizing a deal to acquire 17-year-old Argentina’s next big thing, Claudio Etcheverry, for over €20 million.

Manchester City are investing in young talent and want to do so again like they did with Julián Alvarez. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Citizens have reached an agreement with River Plate to acquire the 17-year-old Claudio Etcheveri.


The world champion will pay the clause in his contract Argentina’s next big thing, which amounts to over 20 million euros.

The two sides are in the final stages of concluding the contract, after which Mr Etceveri will remain on loan at River until the end of the season, when his contract with the club will expire.

Etcheverry shone for Argentina at the U17 World Cup, scoring a hat-trick against Brazil in the quarter-finals.
