Espirito Santo is flying to England and an agreement with Nottingham Forest is imminent
Nuno Espirito Santo is close to taking over as manager of Nottingham Forest as the Portuguese coach travels to England to finalize the details.
Nottingham Forest are preparing the succession situation in their technical leadership as it is only a matter of time before their divorce is announced with the man who propelled them to the Premier League, Steve Cooper.
First on the list is Nuno Espirito Santowith talks going well and – barring any shocking prospect – an agreement between the two sides is imminent.
Fabrizio Romano went one step further and revealed that the Portuguese coach is on the plane to England.
Nuno Espirito Santo sat on the Al Ittihad bench until last November, leaving after 53 games at the helm of the club.
In the past he has sat on the bench at Tottenham, Wolves, Porto, Valencia and Rio Ave, while he was goalkeeping coach at Malaga and Panathinaikos.
