Liverpool are demanding a record sum from shirt sponsor Standard Chartered, with the Reds becoming the team with the most expensive shirt if both sides find them.
Reports from last week wanted Liverpool to talk to a cryptocurrency company about the shirt’s new sponsorship.
According to today’s Daily Mail article, the English club are in negotiations with Standard Chartered to extend their partnership until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The Reds have no problem moving on with the British financial services provider but are now negotiating new terms.
According to the newspaper, Liverpool are asking for 95 million euros, which means that if in the end If the two sides come to an agreement, it will be the team with the most expensive jersey in the world.
