The British government “blocks” the participation of English teams in the European Super League
The British government has condemned the European Super League and stressed it will ban Premier League teams from taking part in the fledgling competition.
The reactions in the football world continue following the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union on Thursday morning (December 21), by which The creation of the European Super League is not considered illegaland thus paved the way for the establishment of our own organizations.
However, should there be an England team keen to take part in the newly formed competition, they know they will not have an easy task.
This is because with the new law, which will be passed in January, the British government will ban Premier League clubs and prevent any attempt by these clubs to join it.
“We will introduce legislation to make this happen and stop clubs from taking part in similar events.”The Ministry of Culture, Media and Sport reported, among others.
