Manchester City: “Our position has not changed, we will continue to take part in UEFA competitions”
Manchester City has positioned itself on the side of UEFA on the question of the European Super League with a cautious statement.
Manchester City have made a cautious statement announcing the European Court of Justice ruling for the European Super League, despite their reporters initially claiming it would not be officially announced.
The English and European champions insisted that nothing had changed since pulling out of the original project in 2021 and remained on UEFA’s side.

“Manchester City confirmed in 2021 that they had officially introduced procedures to withdraw from the group, which is developing plans for a European Super League.
Our position has not changed. We remain committed to the values of European football and will continue to work with other clubs through the ECA and participate in UEFA competitions.”
