Incredible Klopp: “I would like to give my key so that Csimikas gets well”
Jürgen Klopp expressed anger at Kostas Tsimika’s serious injury at the press conference and said he would give him his key.
Jurgen Klopp couldn’t believe his bad luck with the two left-backs in the squad after Andy Robertson was seriously injured with a dislocated shoulder, Kostas Tsimikas was injured in Liverpool’s game against Arsenal and, according to the German coach, suffered a broken collarbone.
The Greek international lost his balance after a push from Boukagio Saka in the first half of the top derby and fell on the German coach.
He failed to continue the game and was immediately substituted. In fact, he was taken to hospital where initial tests showed the extent of the problem.
“I would like to hand over my key if Kostas were well again,” Klopp said at the press conference.
