Ralph Rangnick said it was necessary for Manchester United to reinforce with at least two modern strikers in the summer, claiming that Liverpool and Manchester City, who play in the Championship, have 5 or 6 in their squad.

Manchester United returned to good results with a comfortable 3-0 win over Brentford, reducing the gap to fourth-placed Arsenal to -5 points. Even so, it still takes a miracle to secure a place in the Champions League.

Ralph Rangnick stressed after the game’s final that the Red Devils need at least two modern strikers to strengthen the team’s offense, citing Liverpool and Manchester City as examples.

At the same time, the German coach explained that he was not satisfied with the results of the Red Devils in recent weeks.

“We need at least two modern strikers to give the team more quality. Liverpool and Manchester City have 5 or 6. Is Grillis extreme or aggressive? Are they all aggressive?”

From now on, we need to bring quality players that will really help the team rise. If that happens I don’t think it will be long before United become a big force again.

It is obvious that many will leave and therefore top players are needed. I truly believe that if everyone works together, we can get Manchester United to where it should be.

In the end I’m not happy with the results, especially in the last four or five weeks. We’ve had good moments, we’ve conceded fewer goals, but in recent weeks the performances haven’t been as good as they should have been. “Overall, we lacked consistency.”
