Evra: “I had a proposal from United for the position of director of sport”
Patrice Evra announced to Equipe that he had accepted an offer from Manchester United, who had played eight years, to take on the role of technical director without revealing when it happened.

Specifically, the French football veteran announced that he has accepted a proposal from the Red Devils to take a position on the team, i.e. sports director.
