Manchester City overcame Aston Villa’s obstacle in the final game and finished first in this year’s Premier League marathon to celebrate their second consecutive championship and eighth in their history.

Manchester City and Liverpool won the entire Premier League that year and both overcame 90 points in their bid to climb to the top, which was eventually scrapped blue.
