The moment Liverpool’s people celebrate as they believe Aston Villa City drew 3-3
A misinformation at Anfield that wanted Aston Villa to equalize 3-3 against Manchester City had the Liverpool friends celebrating wildly, believing their side were the English champions.
Manchester City and Liverpool provided the fans with an incredible spectacle on Sunday afternoon (22/5) as Pep Guardiola’s team pulled off a terrible surprise, bouncing back from a 2-0 defeat and celebrating conquering the Crime Championship.
But until the Citizens were crowned English champions, fans of the two teams battling for the title watched with bated breath.
This is how the Manchester City – Aston Villa and Liverpool – Wolves matches went, with intense exchanges of emotions at both stadiums.
But after Salah’s goal and the Reds’ 2-1, and while City were ahead at Etihad, someone at Anfield falsely reported that the villains had equalized to 3-3, causing panic in the stands.
However, the Liverpool friends’ furious celebrations only lasted a few seconds before they realized the information they had received was false.
It’s also worth noting that the Egyptian star rushed to celebrate after scoring until he was told the Citizens were ahead.
