Robin Olsen, who was attacked by a Manchester City friend who stormed the pitch to celebrate the championship, called them “idiots” but insisted he wouldn’t let them ruin his debut.
Robin Olsen’s debut with the Aston Villa shirt was episodic. A part of the Manchester City fans, who took the field after the final to celebrate the championship, attacked the goalkeeper of the guests and former goalkeeper of PAOK.
In a post on social media, the Swede called them “stupid” but insisted he wouldn’t let his first appearance with the team spoil his good feelings.
“I won’t let those idiots who attacked me ruin my feelings. I had the opportunity to make my debut for this fantastic club and we came very close to getting a good result against a strong opponent. ” wrote the 32-year-old in his post.
