The Premier League has given the green light for Todd Bolly to buy Chelsea
The Premier League board announced that they have approved Todd Bolly’s purchase of Chelsea, which now has to be approved by the UK.
A major step was taken for Chelsea today (24/05) to enter a new era as the Premier League Board announced that they had approved the purchase of Chelsea by Todd Bolly and the fund backing him.
Now it only needs to be approved by the UK government to sort out all the legal issues and complete the sale by Roman Abramovich.
The league states in their announcement that they have passed the required tests that are carried out on the owners in order to be allowed to manage the team.
It is recalled that Roman Abramovich was “forced” to sell Chelsea due to the sanctions imposed by the UK due to the war in Ukraine. This money is provided through an institution he founded to support Ukraine.
