Leicester 2-3 Tottenham: Epic upset with two goals from Berhwein at 90+5 and 90+7
Tottenham turned the year upside down in this season’s Premier League after losing 2-1 to Leicester by the 94th minute but celebrating an incredible win in the final with goals from Berhwein on 95th and 97th minutes .
These don’t happen! Either to be honest or to be more specific, these are done in the magical world of the Premier League. The reason for the incredible game played out at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night (19/1) for Game 17 where Leicester appeared to have embraced the three points lead to 94′ as they were 2 points in front of goal -1 but Tottenham bring the ups and downs in the final of delays with goals in 90+5′ and in 90+7′.
The absolute protagonist of the game was undoubtedly Steven Berhwein, who made Antonio Conte’s last move from the bench with the Dutch winger in 79′ and mercilessly executed the foxes in the delays.
In the 95th minute, a dry shot from the penalty spot equalized to make it 2:2. Immediately after the hosts had passed in, the Londoners “acted” again with ball stealing, Kane with a vertical pass and the 24-year-old getting behind the defense , avoiding Smichel and making it 2-1 at 90+7′ with a difficult lateral shot from the right.
The turnaround was justifiable for the visitors, however, as the team dominated the final despite not being rewarded for it in regular play.
A 90 minute in which the hosts opened the scoring with Dhaka in 24 ‘and Kane in 38′ with the goal number 250 for him in collective contests for Madison to come and give the Foxes the lead in 76’ just before the incredible Crescendo of the surreal Berbhain.
It should be noted that with this win, Tottenham reduced their difference to 4th West Ham to one point, while compared to the Hammers they have three games less.
LESTER: Schmeichel, Chuduri, Soyundsu, Westergaard, Albrighton, Tillemans, Dusbury-Hall (88′ Sumare), Thomas (53′ Dustin), Madison, Dhaka (75′ Barnes), Lukman
TOTENAM: Lioris, Royal (46′ Doherty), Tanganga, Sanchez, Davis, Regillon (79′ Berhvain), Skip, Winks (74′ Lo Celso), Hoiberg, Kane, Moura
