An Everton fan has been arrested for throwing objects at Villa players
Everton have announced that one of the fans who threw objects at Aston Villa players has been arrested by police authorities, with the investigation continuing.
Everton – Aston Villa (0-1) on Saturday afternoon (22.1) at Goodison Park became the second winner thanks to Buentia’s golden goal.
However, the match was overshadowed by a bad incident, as immediately after the visitors’ goal at 45+3′, the confectioners’ fans threw objects at Steven Gerrard’s players during the celebrations, who followed Dean and Matti Kas with them.
According to the home team, the police authorities made an arrest. As stated in it, tEverton security and Merseyside Police identified him using camera footage.
However, investigations continue, with the club making it clear that they will ban any fans who find they have engaged in throwing objects from the stadium.
