Liverpool send medical team to Argentina to speed up Dias transfer
Liverpool want to complete the transfer of Luis Dias from Porto as soon as possible, so they are sending a medical team to Argentina, where the Colombian striker is playing with his national team in the World Cup qualifiers in the South America group.
Liverpool have reached an agreement with Porto to take over Luis Dias and as everything shows in the final of the winter transfer window they will proceed with a transfer that will strengthen the attacking line of Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Colombian left-footed player is currently traveling with his country’s national team as part of the World Cup qualifiers in South America.
However, the Reds want to complete his takeover as soon as possible and have therefore decided to send him to Argentina’s medical team at the weekend to complete his medical checks as Colombia are due to start next Wednesday after losing to Peru (0-1) ( 2/2) albiseleste.
The English club have already agreed terms with the 25-year-old, while the ‘Dragons’ collect €60m plus bonuses for goal attainment, an amount below the €80m release clause he had in the contract with the Portuguese .
