The England midfielder had limited time with Antonio Conte on the Spurs bench and was looking for the next step in his career which he found in the Merseyside ‘blue side’.
The 25-year-old midfielder has played for Tottenham since 2016. Overall, he scored 67 goals and shared 61 assists with the Londoners in 269 appearances.
