Milan 3-2 Inter: Magical Leao seals Derby della Madonnina victory
Milan was the big winner of the satisfying Derby della Madonnina against Inter. In the first title derby of the season, she is 3-2 ahead of her rival in the overall standings.
Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud were the stars of the Derby della Madonnina in which Milan were victorious 3-2 against Inter Milan on Matchday 5 of Serie A. The Rossoneri dominated for most of the game and could have scored more goals, although they needed Mike Menian’s save in the end.
Stefano Pioli used what was becoming his classic formation with Charles de Quetelare behind Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao on the left. For his part, Simone Inzaghi didn’t have Romelu Lukaku available and Joaquin Correa took his place alongside Lautaro Martinez in the Nerazzurri’s 3-5-2.
The game started with the home side having a slight advantage, but Inter opened the scoring from four by Marcelo Brozovic. That goal woke Milan up even more, with Giroud and Leao ‘shooting’ from everywhere and in every direction.
The Portuguese striker equalized in the 28th minute after a mistake by former teammate Hakan Tsalhanoglou. Post and miscue prevented the surprise in the 1st half but it happened in the 2nd half. Giroud made it 2-1 in the 54th minute with a set piece and a mistake by Samir Hadanovic, and six minutes later Leao made it 3-1 beautifully.
Inzaghi had to make a triple substitution, Edin Dzeko, Federico Dimarco and Henrikh Mkhitaryan came and made their mark. In fact, it was the Bosnian who put Inter back in the game with his goal in the 67th minute.
In the final part of the game, the protagonist was Mike Menian, who prevented Inter from equalizing with two excellent interventions, creating several dangers. After the final whistle, Milan was the winner, opening the “scissors” to four points.

Incredibly, Mourinho, he sang it to Kvaratshelias and was hugging and kissing him within 10 seconds
An incredible scene took place in the first 45 minutes of the Roma-Napoli game in which Jose Mourinho first theatrically cheered Kvaratshelias and then hugged and kissed him within ten seconds.
Incredible scene in Rome – Napoli where Jose Mourinho first chants Quaratschelia and then within ten seconds hugs, kisses and talks to him as if he were his father.
In the 37th minute of the game, the Georgian international earned a foul and a yellow card from his opponent, in a phase that took place in front of Mourinho, who insisted that there was not even a foul.
Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other. A little later, the recording showed Mourinho having a very friendly chat with Osimen.
