He made the decision to operate on Pogba’s right knee
Paul Pogba’s recent conservative treatment was unsuccessful and he opted for meniscus surgery which is expected to keep him out of action for 1.5 months.
Paul Pogba’s absence from the Champions League group stage opener, which sees Juventus take on Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes, was a foregone conclusion, but Bianconeri fans will have to resign themselves to the late French international midfielder in black and white.
The ex-Manchester United player opted for conservative treatment after his injury sustained in the United States on July 24, but five weeks of work didn’t bring the desired result and now he’s ready to walk through the operating room.
According to Italian media on Monday evening (5/9), Pogba has made the decision to undergo immediate meniscus surgery to fix the problem in his right knee, which is expected to keep him out of action for five to six weeks.
In practical terms, this means that his return to the pitches will be possible in mid-October, which will allow him to assert his presence in the final stages of the World Cup with the jersey of the national team of France.
