Napoli: Osimen suffered a second-degree contusion
Napoli will miss Victor Oshimen from their upcoming signings after the Nigerian striker picked up an injury in their Champions League group stage opener against Liverpool.
Napoli beat Liverpool 4-1 in their Champions League group stage opener but the joy was marred by an injury to Victor Osimen.
The in-form forward suffered a second-degree contusion, the Partenopei said on Friday, ruling him out from both the upcoming games and those of the Nigeria national team later in the month.
That means he will miss games against Spezia, AC Milan and Torino in LaLiga and against Rangers and Ajax in the Champions League, as well as Nigeria’s friendly against Algeria. After a month, his condition will be reassessed and an attempt will be made not to miss any more Napoli games.
