Raspadori broke the Gordian knot for Napoli in the 89th minute against Dimitris Nikolaou’s outstanding Spezia and temporarily moved up to the top of the table.

Dimitris Nikolaou’s Spezia struggled against Napoli on Matchday 6 of Diego Maradona’s Serie A, but the Partenopei found their way into the net through Raspadori in the 89th minute to take the three points. The Greek stopper was one of the key players in Luca Gotti’s team, even if it didn’t end in a draw.

The hosts had the initiative of moves throughout the game but didn’t manage many stages towards the goal of Spezia goalkeeper Dragovski. Kvaratthelia was particularly active for Spalet’s team but failed to score a goal that would redeem the Partenopei, especially in the first half.

Napoli almost conceded a goal after a 70th-minute misunderstanding between Meret and Rui, but Rahmani saved the team at the last minute. Three minutes before Raspadori’s goal, the home side had a chance to score, but Lothano’s shot went just wide. In the final, Luciano Spalletti was sent off with a second yellow card for being involved in an altercation off the line.

After this result, Napoli temporarily climbed to the top of the table with 14 points, while Spezia remains in 14th place with five points
