Totti broke his silence after the breakup: “Ilari and her father emptied my mailboxes”
Two months after Francesco Totti announced his split from Ilari Blasi, in an interview with Corriere della Sera, Francesco Totti denied rumors that he was betraying his ex-wife while revealing that she stole his collection of expensive watches.
After 20 years as a couple, 17 of them married, Francesco Totti and Ilari Blasi announced their separation last July.
Rumors that the pair wanted a break before going their separate ways were confirmed, with Roma’s historic captain breaking his silence two months after the announcement and speaking to Corriere della Sera.
Among other things, the 45-year-old denied cheating on his ex-wife, while also revealing that Ilari took his watches and emptied his safes along with her father.
“It’s not true that I was the first to betray. I’ve read too many reports in the past few weeks and some of them have upset my kids: enough. I went through a difficult time, first because I stopped playing football then there was my father’s death from Corona and then when I needed her more than ever my wife wasn’t there.
But I also have flaws, I should have given her more time and attention. Last September, the rumors started: “Illari has another one. More than one, actually.” And then they came for messages of the type, “Let’s meet at the hotel,” addressed to her hairstylist and friend, Alesia Solidani.
Ilari took my watch collection, there are some very valuable Rolexes, she emptied the safes with her father. I want to protect my children, the people I love more than myself. He’s hoping for an early settlement on the mansion and everything else“Said the Italian veteran, among other things.
